I'm Jeff Cooper. I'm the CEO of Saltbox Solutions, a performance marketing agency, and the Chief Innovation Officer at AAE, the largest buyer's agent for public speakers in the world.

Biomedical engineering degree from Duke. Fifteen-plus years across performance marketing, data analytics, and software automation. Built neural networks from scratch before LLMs went mainstream, so I have perspective on the hype cycle from before it was a cycle.

I write about applied AI — specifically what it takes to get any of this to actually work in a mid-sized business, along with broader musings on the interesections of AI, life, and business.
