Hi. I'm Jeff Cooper.

I'm the Chief Innovation Officer at AAE, the largest buyer's agent for public speakers in the world. I'm also the founder and owner of Saltbox, a pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimization company.

When not working on my own businesses, I serve on the board of EO Raleigh-Durham - aiming to build stronger communities for founders of seven-figure businesses.

I hold a biomedical engineering degree from Duke University with over fifteen years of experience across performance marketing, data analytics, and software automation.

I was building neural networks from scratch with Python before LLMs were cool.

I love AI. I hate over-hyped technologies.

I write about applied AI - specifically what it takes to get any of this to actually work in a business context - along with broader musings on the intersections of AI, life, and business.
